Mumbai BJP to celebrate Diwali with music

City BJP chief Ashish Shelar said, “BJP always joins people in celebrating festivals like Dahi handi, Geneshotsav, Navratri. We are now joining people for Diwali too.”

The Mumbai BJP will go musical this Diwali. A weeklong celebrations titled “Diwali Pahat” will see well-known Marathi singers rendering classical and devotional songs at various events across the city.

Popular singers like Ravindra Sathe, Uttara Kelkar, Shrikant Narayan, Sonali Karnik,Chintamani Sohoni, Kavita Nikam will grace the occasion with their voices in the presence of actors Tushar Dalvi, Sampada Kulkarni, who will address the gathering. Jeevan Gani is arranging the event.
