A man accused in an attempt to murder case, injured himself in the sessions court premises after the court ordered his bail to be cancelled.
Harrison Anthony Joseph, arrested along with three others by the MRA Marg police station in February, was granted bail in June.
On Tuesday, the court cancelled the bail of Joseph and others, following which a ruckus was created in the sessions court premises by them.
According to police officials, Joseph punched a glass pane of the courtroom and injured himself.
The accused also hurled abuses before they were overpowered and taken outside the court building.
Joseph was later admitted to St George Hospital for injuries on his hand.
An official from Colaba police station said that no case has been registered in the incident against Joseph so far.
The accused were arrested for attempt to murder, voluntarily causing hurt, and criminal conspiracy.
