After a resounding success in 2010,Treasure Trove,spearheaded by Bijal Meswani,Zia Mody and Farah Khan,is back with its second edition. This luxury and art auction is aimed at raising funds for The Research Society for the Care,Treatment and Training of Children In Need of Special Care. “When the institute approached me to help raise money for its mentally challenged kids,I was more than happy to support the cause. We want to make it an annual affair,” says Meswani. The auction will be held today at Trident,Nariman Point.

The auction features artwork by artists such as SH Raza,Sakti Burman,Akbar Padamsee,Satish Gujral and Anjolie Ela Menon,some jewellery items,silver tea sets and clutches from Judith Leiber and Christian Louboutin. “We also have a trip to Hampi,two passes to the Wimbeldon Men’s Final,two box seats for the Indian Premier League 5 finale,a date with Ranbir Kapoor and a bike ride with John Abraham,going under the hammer,” explains Sapna Kar,the curator for Treasure Trove II.
