Relentless attack by Utsav Bachani and Patrick Mascarehanas, who shared six goals floored their opponents Thunder Boys as J.CZ notched up 6-0 win to move into the pre-quarterfinals of the 13th Remedian Open Floolit Rink Football Tournament, played at Our Lady of Remedy School. The match virtually turned out to be like a massacre of the innocents. The Thunder Boys hardly got a look in a hoplessly one- sided was the contest.
The most evenly fought tie, however, was between Rizvi Ceramics and the Dynamic Boys, which after many ups and downs went in favour of the former by two goals to one. In fact, the Rizvi outfit was at the receiving end initially as they trailed 0-1 at the breather but after the break they turned on the heat to emerge victors with Sean Santos scoring a brace. Holy Trinity dominated the exchanges for the major part of the tie and led by a solitary goal before an equalizer by Russel Galbano saw the tie ended 1-1 . While most of the shooters missed the target,it was Jackon Koli who found the net to bring the Malad outfit tense victory.
