The Maharashtra State Government Employees’ Central Confederation has threatened to go on strike after Dussehra if its demand for increase in Dearness Allowance and a bonus of Rs 5,000 each is not met.

The Maharashtra State Government Employees’ Central Confederation has threatened to go on strike after Dussehra if its demand for increase in Dearness Allowance (DA) and a bonus of Rs 5,000 each is not met. The Centre announced seven per cent increase in DA from July 2012. The state,however,is yet to announce any DA hike.
