Celebrate Ganesh festival, Eid with peace and harmony, says Devendra Fadnavis

Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis held meeting Wednesday to review the civic, traffic and security arrangements ahead of the Ganesh festival and Eid celebrations across Maharashtra.

The 10-day Ganeshotsav will begin Thursday morning. Greeting people on the eve of the festival, Fadnavis said, “I appeal to people across Maharashtra to celebrate Ganesh and Eid festival in peace and harmony.” Mumbai Police Commissioner Javed Ahmed, BMC commissioner Ajoy Mehta, Additional Chief Secretary (Home) K P Bakshi were also present at the meeting.
