Body of 11-year-old found in lake

The boy,identified as Harsh Raul,had been missing from his home since Sunday.

The body of an 11-year-old boy was found in a lake in the compound of a private firm Tuesday,police said. A case of accidental death has been registered at the RCF police station. Police suspect that he might have drowned. The boy,who has been identified as Harsh Raul,has been missing from his home in Bharat Nagar in Chembur since Sunday,the police said. A missing person’s complaint was registered by Raul’s family. ”We launched a search to locate the boy. When the watchman who guards the defunct premises of the Oswal Company found the boy’s body floating in the lake,he immediately alerted us,” said an officer from RCF police station adding that inquiries with Raul’s family revealed that he visited the compound and the lake inside,frequently. “He may have drowned while swimming there Sunday. We are investigating the case,” he said.
