The man riding pillion first pushed her and slashed her right arm with a blade. The girl, however, proceeded to appear for her exam. Midway through writing her paper, she felt giddy and was rushed to Hinduja Hospital. She was discharged from there after being tended to. She then approached the police station to register a complaint, said Parshuram Kakad, senior inspector at Shivaji Park police station.
A complaint has been registered against unidentified persons under section 324 (voluntarily causing hurt by dangerous weapons or means) of the Indian Penal Code.
