Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said Thursday his government would promote B R Ambedkar’s struggle for social and economic equality and justice globally.

He said Prime Minister Narendra Modi would inaugurate the London House of Ambedkar on November 12, which would be transformed into a research centre for people abroad.

Addressing a gathering at Deekshabhoomi in Nagpur, the Fadnavis said, “The state government is working to bring Deekshabhoomi on the world map. There are several projects being undertaken by the state government, and Deekshabhoomi, where Ambedkar converted to Buddhism along with his followers, would be upgraded to attract tourist from across the world.”
