A 36-year-old yoga instructor from Kandivali (East) registered a complaint with Samta Nagar police Tuesday alleging that her website was hacked by former employees and her customer database had been stolen.

Police arrested three former employees Sandeep Chandran,Niraj Tiwari and Rohit Pandey. A fourth suspect,Shraddha Sawant,is absconding.

Prabha, who claims to be politician Mulayam Singh Yadav’s relative, told police she owns ‘Yog Power Studio’ which holds classes in Thakur Complex at Kandivali.

She alleged that her employees had been directing her clientèle to another yoga class named ‘Yoga Hunt’ which she only realised a few weeks ago as her clients had called asking if she had started a new class.

“The name and contact details on my website had not changed, but they reached out to my clients by making phone calls and using social networking sites. The fee for my classes is Rs 14,000 a month, but they were charging only Rs 5,000 monthly,” said Yadav.

“We booked the three under IPC section 380 (theft in dwelling house) and relevant sections of Information Technology Act. We have sought help from cyber crime officers,” said senior inspector Nanasaheb Kamble.
