2 Air India staff arrested for,threat,lewd message

The Cyber Crime cell of the Bandra Kurla Complex police have arrested two members of the Air India cabin crew for allegedly sending threat and lewd mails to a female Air India employee,besides posting derogatory remarks on Facebook and Orkut about the Indian government.

The Cyber Crime cell of the Bandra Kurla Complex police have arrested two members of the Air India cabin crew for allegedly sending threat and lewd mails to a female Air India employee,besides posting derogatory remarks on Facebook and Orkut about the Indian government.

The two suspects,who were arrested on Thursday,have also insulted the Indian flag they posted on the networking sites,said police officers.

Nandkishore More,senior police inspector of the Cyber Crime police station,said that the two had uploaded derogatory messages using foul language on Facebook and Orkut against the the Union government and the Home Minister and replaced the wheel on the Tricolour with a derogatory symbol.

“We arrested them for threatening a female employee and also under sections 66 (A) and 67 (A) of the IT Act. We are conducting further inquiries to find out the motive,” said More.
