Majlis Islam party extends support to SAD

Keeping in view the coming Lok Sabha elections,the All India Majlis Islam Party today announced its new office-bearers in different districts and cities of the state.

Keeping in view the coming Lok Sabha elections,the All India Majlis Islam Party today announced its new office-bearers in different districts and cities of the state.

Shahi Imam Habib ur Rehman,the national president of the party said,“Our party supported Shiromani Akali Dal (B) in the Vidhan Sabha elections. This time also we are going to support the Akali Dal. We have appointed 125 office-bearers in all the major cities and towns of the state.”

He also said that Nawab Ali Patiala has been elected as the state president of the party while Maulana Hamid Hasan,Haji Ramzaan Bhatti,Aseebudin,Haji Mohammad Ibrahim,Hafiz Mohammad Israel and Baba Shaukat Ali have been chosen as patrons.

Rehman said: “There are 25 lakh Muslims in Punjab. These office-bearers will keep us informed about the anti-social elements who work against Islam. They will also arrange rallies in major cities like Ludhiana,Patiala,Bathinda and Anandur Sahib in favour of Shiromani Akali Dal. No government can be constituted without the active support of minorities.”
