Live surgery broadcast at conference

In the recently-held three day “National Course on Cardiovascular Interventions” organised by Cardiovascular Educational Research Trust at New Delhi,Chief Cardiologist of Hero DMC Heart Institute,Dr G S Wander,and Dr Rosli Mohammed Ali from IJN Hospital,Kuala Lumpur,Malaysia performed Aortic Valve Implantation procedures at HDHI,which was shown live at the venue of the conference.

Giving information,Dr Wander informed that the conference was attended by more than 1,000 Interventional Cardiologists from India and other SAARC countries. According to Dr G S Wander,the conference was organised to make the participating delegates aware about percutaneous cardio-vascular interventions,designed for interventional cardiologists,clinical cardiologists,vascular medicine specialists and other health care professionals. Earlier,the second India Live course was organised in Mumbai in February 2011. The course was highly acclaimed for its scientific content and generated huge response from participants.

The conference also featured live case demonstrations that were performed by internationally-renowned cardiologists from 30 live case sites from India and abroad.
