HC decision on homosexuality evokes sharp reactions

The Delhi High Court’s decision to stamp its approval on the homosexual acts has received a widespread criticism from various sections of the society.

The Delhi High Court’s decision to stamp its approval on the homosexual acts has received a widespread criticism from various sections of the society.

The Shahi Imam of Punjab,Maulana Habib-ur-Rehman Sani Ludhianvi,while addressing a press conference here,today said that it was a matter of regret that the Delhi High Court had passed such a judgement. The Shahi Imam said that homosexual relations were not approved by any religion.

The Sahi Imam said that by legalising the homosexuality,nobody would be benefitted and it would rather spoil the youngsters. He said that the Europe and US were intentionally trying to spread homosexuality in India.

He said that the decision should be reversed by the Supreme Court of India.

Meanwhile,the Middha Chowk Market Association has also condemned the verdict given by the Delhi High Court. The association president,GS Middha said that such a decision was likely to spoil the lives of youngsters forever.
