Former travel agency staffer booked for hacking mails

An ex-employee of a travel agency was booked on Sunday for allegedly hacking the mails and passwords and cancelling air tickets of customers to defame the agency.

An ex-employee of a travel agency was booked on Sunday for allegedly hacking the mails and passwords and cancelling air tickets of customers to defame the agency.

The division number 5 police registered a case against the woman under Section 66 of the Information Technology Act after complaints by Bhupesh Kumar,owner of Christine Vacations,Feroze Gandhi Market.

The woman has been identified as Neha Kaushal,a resident of Pakhowal road.

Sub-Inspector Mukesh Kumar,additional SHO at police station division number 5,said efforts were on to arrest the accused as the owner had suffered financial losses because of the crime.
