Presently portraying the role of BJP prime minster candidate Narendra Modi on television, his clone Manish Kumar Jangra feels that ‘it is extremely difficult to copy a personality like Modi.’
In city on Saturday to promote his political satire comedy show ‘Gangs of Hasseepur’, Jangra talking to media said, “These days all television actors wish to get the role which is most popular and in demand. At present, Modi is everywhere and country is gripped in elections fever. Being a professor, it was really a surprise for me that I got opportunity to play Modi in the programme.”
Jangra is also having an angle of academician to his life as he is professor cum cultural coordinator at Chandigarh University, Mohali. He added that ‘people express their wish to get clicked with him and ask questions related to political scenario in country whenever he moves out.’ “Modi is really a good orator and it was the most difficult part of his personality for me to copy. I have also played L K Advani for some time in show but Modi role has got better reaction from public,” he said.
He told that he is yet to meet Modi personally.
