One person died and two were injured when an LPG cylinder burst at the Dhandari area on Wednesday. The deceased has been identified as Parkash Sahu,a resident of Bihar.
According to the police,he was cooking in the morning when the cylinder caught fire due to a leakage. Sahu brought the cylinder out into the open and was trying to plug the leakage with a cloth when the cylinder burst.
The impact was so huge that Sahu fell at a distance from the spot and his face mutilated beyond recognition. A part of the cylinder hit the opposite wall,injuring two people Chiranjeevi and Kishan,informed Focal Point police station SHO Mukesh Kumar.
Sahu has four daughters back home in Bihar. The police have sent the body for post mortem and informed his family.
