City girl secures 10th rank in PU exam

Surinder Kaur of Guru Nanak Girls College has bagged the 10th rank in the BSc 3rd year biotechnology exam,results of which were declared by Panjab University,Chandigarh,on Tuesday. She secured 79.3 per cent marks.

Kang in CII delegation to Africa

Dr K N S Kang,Director General,PCTE Group of Institutes left for Mozambique,Tanzania and Kenya on Tuesday as a part of CII (Confederation of Indian Industry) Government Business delegation from India. The delegation headed by Preneet Kaur,Minister of State for External Affairs to Government of India to Mozambique and Tanzania has PCTE representative as the only education Institute from India. The delegation will conduct interactive business sessions with Government officials of the African country.

Doctor cracks top European exam

Dr Rabinder Singh Sobti,consultant,critical care medicine,at the DMC hospital in Ludhiana has cleared the European Diploma In Critical Care (EDIC) exam conducted by ESICM (European Society of Intensive Care Medicine) held at Hammersmith hospital in London. Dr Sobti (30) is among the youngest doctors to clear the exam.
