LUDHIANA: The Offset Printers’ Association (OPA) introduced a sticker “proud to be a printer”. A M S G Ashokan,president of the All India Federation of Master Printers,released this sticker. “Printing is the biggest invention of mankind to date. Printing had a solid past and definitely a bright future. We should be proud that we are printers,” he said.

151 units of blood donated

LUDHIANA: To mark Guru Nanak Dev birth anniversary,a blood donation and eye check-up camp was organised in ward number 8 by area councillor Daljit Singh Grewal on Monday. As many as 151 units of blood were collected on the occasion.

DAV School wins table tennis tourney

LUDHIANA: A table tennis tournament under national sports (cluster level) was held at DAV Public School,BRS Nagar,on Monday. Around 65 students from different DAV schools of Punjab participated in it. In boys’ final,the host school beat Dayanand Model School,Jalandhar,3-1. In girls’ final,the host school beat DMS,Jalandhar,3-2.

Workshop on oral hygiene organised

LUDHIANA: A workshop on oral hygiene was organised at BCM Senior Secondary School,Sector 32. A team of doctors from Karma Hospital gave instructions to students on maintaining oral hygiene. ens
