On the 3rd day of CITU dharna, the newly inducted Aam Admi party leader and former DGP Shashikant addressed the protesting union members. He asked them to wage a war against the ongoing drug mafia in the state. It needs to be mentioned that Shashi Kant had submitted a report to the state regarding the ongoing drug mafia and also stated involvement of high profile persons, politicians in the trade. He even accused the government for delay in action against the culprits and added that the government was not able to control crime against women. CITU had called for a five-days dharna outside DC office and the volunteers kept sitting at the venue despite heavy rain. On Thursday, they will meet the DC regarding local issues, Jodhan said.
