Accountants’ organisation marks 63 years of existence

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India completed 63 years on Sunday and to mark the day,the organisation's Ludhiana branch organised a CA day.

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India completed 63 years on Sunday and to mark the day,the organisation’s Ludhiana branch organised a CA day. The event was held at the accountants’ office in Pakhowal road.

About 250 chartered accountants from the city and their families and 200 chartered accountant students participated in the function.

As a social responsibility measure,a blood donation camp was organised,which was well supported by a team of doctors from Dayanand Medical College and Hospital.

More than 150 units of blood was donated for the cause,according to Jasminder Singh,a member of the organisation.

A free health check up camp was also organised by doctors from SPS Apollo Hospitals. To make the event really joyful,indoor games championship was held. Enthusiastic members,their families and students took part in a chess championship,Chinese Checkers Championship and a Carom Board Competition.
