Division number 5 police along with health department officials on Saturday raided four pan shops on Satpaul Mittal Road and found that the shop owners were selling hookah despite the ban. Nine people were arrested and a case was registered against Chaurasia pan seller,Chaurasia pan parlour,Chaurasia pan bhandar and Chaurasia special pan bhandar all located on the same road. The shop owners would charge Rs 1,000 for smoking hookah for an hour. Rs 700 would be refunded. SHO Dharampal Singh said,nicotine,tobacco and other drugs were mixed in the hookah prepared by the pan shop owners.
