100-bed Sankara eye hospital opens today

Sankara Eye Care Institutions India (SECI) will open its branch in the city on Monday.

Spread over a 2-acre sprawling complex and backed by an expert team of eye surgeons,the 100-bed hospital will provide specialised consultation and treatment across all sub-specialities in ophthalmology. These include cataract,cornea,retina,glaucoma,paediatric ophthalmology,occuloplasty,lasik laser correction and also have a computer vision clinic and contact lens facility.

“We are happy that the dream of thousands of NRIs and the entire Sankara Team has come true in the form of this beautiful hospital in Ludhiana. Sankara’s ideology of superior quality eye care combined with high ethical standards is transforming the lives of millions across the country,” Dr S V Balasubramaniam,chairman of Sankara Eye Care Institutions India told mediapersons on Sunday.
