Lucknow: A woman killed her three children by administering poison before committing suicide in Piparpur area of Chhatrapati Shahuji Maharaj Nagar district on Wednesday.
Superintendent of Police (SP) of the district,Ravi Shanker Chhavi told The Indian Express that the woman – Karma (32) – administered sulphas tablets to her nine-year-old twin sons Ramu and Shyamu and six-year-old Sanjay,before consuming it herself around 5.30 am. The woman and Ramu and Sanjay died at the spot while the neighbours rushed Shyamu to the district hospital,where he died during treatment,after an hour.
Karmas father Lakshman Prasad Yadav told the police that his daughter was married to one Subedar at Bahrauli village 12 years ago. He is employed at a bar in Mumbai for past several years and comes to his native place twice a year.
Body of girl found
lucknow: The decomposed body of a 22-year-old girl was recovered from her house in Alambagh police station area on Tuesday evening.
Police suspect it to be case of murder. Station Officer,Alambagh,said the body was lying in the house for about one month.
He said the girl was living alone in the house after the death of his father who was an assistant driver with the railway.
