With an aim to improve students employability,Uttar Pradesh Technical University will sign a Memorandum of Understanding with Intel,which includes setting up of two Centres of Excellence. The advanced systems of Intel will be taken up at workshops for both teachers and students. After workshops,projects will be taken up, said Prof R K Khandal,UPTU vice-chancellor.
The first such workshop for faculty members has already been called at Noida campus of UPTU between December 9-11. Prof Khandal also informed that a Centre of Excellence on the lines of the Microsoft Centre of Excellence at Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET),Lucknow,would be set up in Noida and then in Lucknow.
