The BJP today claimed that the UPA government has lost both majority in Parliament and credibility in public on the issues of price rise,FDI in retail and different alleged scams. At a press conference,BJP national vice-president Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said the country was going through a political crisis and instability these days. Naqvi said the UPA government has lost majority and it should roll back its decisions on FDI and price rise.
Naqvi said that the UPA was adopting various tactics to save the government after the Trinamool Congress decided to withdraw support from the UPA government.
He said that more significant political moves would be witnessed in the next few days. He said that mid-term Lok Sabha elections could be held any time now. The party will chalk out a strategy for possible mid-term Lok Sabha elections and upcoming Assembly elections in the meetings of partys national executive and national council to be held in Faridabad on September 26,27 and 28.
