Lucknow: Three constables were killed and a sub-inspector was injured when a speeding truck rammed into a police post in Baghpat district on Saturday. The truck ploughed through the police post at Badhal killing constables Suresh Chand,Rao Virendra Singh and Mohd Yusuf,police said. Sub-inspector Dharampal Singh was injured,they said. The truck driver fled from the scene and a hunt was launched to apprehend him,police said.

Four of a family
killed in accident

Lucknow: Four members of a family were killed and six seriously injured when the SUV in which they were travelling collided with a truck in Bijnore district on Saturday. The victims,all hailing from Udhamsingh Nagar in Uttarakhand,met with the accident on Dhampur road near village Puraini under Nagina police station area,police said. The injured have been admitted to the district hospital,police said.
