FIR against ex-BSP MLA for not paying builder

Police have lodged an FIR against former BSP MLA Mohammed Irshad Khan and his brother at Kakori police station for not making full payment to a builder who had constructed a school for Khan.

Police have lodged an FIR against former BSP MLA Mohammed Irshad Khan and his brother at Kakori police station for not making full payment to a builder who had constructed a school for Khan.

The complaint was lodged by builder Vijay Kumar Yadav who alleged that he had built a school for Khan at the cost of Rs 1.44 crore but the former MLA paid only Rs 1.01 crore and declined to pay the remaining amount.

Yadav said that he — on behalf of his construction firm Vijay Associates — had also signed an agreement with the MLA’s brother Naushad alias Laku on July 10,2007 for construction of the school named Ram Prasad Memorial Public School,Kakori.

Yadav alleged that Khan had not paid his dues in the last five years.

Khan and his brother also issued threats to him and his family members,Yadav alleged.

Khan represented the Sarojini Nagar Assembly constituency in the last Vidhan Sabha. He unsuccessfully contested from Bangarmau seat of Hardoi in the 2012 Assembly elections.
