Digvijaya echoing SIMI agenda: BJP

BJP national vice-president Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said that Digvijaya was trying to implement the agenda of SIMI (Students Islamic Movement of India) in the country.

Regarding the statement of Congress general secretary Digvijaya Singh on the Batla house encounter,BJP national vice-president Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said that Digvijaya was trying to implement the agenda of SIMI (Students Islamic Movement of India) in the country.

“Secession was SIMI’s agenda and Digvijaya is trying to implement it in the country by giving such statements about the Batla House encounter case,” Naqvi said.

He said that Union Home Minister P Chidambaram and Digvijaya both had given contradictory statements about the case. He said the PM should clarify the government’s view about the case.
