With the announcement of UP Assembly poll dates, the ruling BSP has started denying tickets to more of its sitting MLAs. Sources said, the party has decided to delete names of several sitting MLAs from its candidates list, including Rajya Sabha MP Naresh Agarwal’s son Nitin Agarwal (Hardoi seat) and Subhash (Dwaba in Ballia). Nitin Agarwal, however, said he has not been informed about the party’s decision. He claimed he came to know about the denial of party ticket through TV reports.
