Amit Shah starts meetings from western UP

BJP national general secretary and UP in-charge Amit Shah Tuesday held a meeting with party’s western UP regional unit in Meerut and directed the workers to set up the organisation up to the polling booth level by July-end.

According to sources,Shah directed the MLAs and MPs to launch aggressive campaigns on public issues in their constituencies. According to sources,during the meeting,state party president Laxmikant Bajpai said the party has “almost” selected its prime ministerial candidate and now it was the responsibility of the workers to ensure the election of that candidate. With west UP,Shah has started meetings of regional units to assess the strength of the party there. Shah will hold a meeting of Awadh region in Ayodhya on July 6. He will meet leaders from Gorakhpur region next day.

Talwars’ plea on sound simulation

ALLAHABAD: The arguments on an application filed by dentist couple,Rajesh Talwar and Nupur Talwar,in the Allahabad High Court seeking direction to the CBI for bringing on record the sound simulation test report,as well as the narco-analysis test report,resumed on Tuesday and will continue tomorrow. The Talwars are facing trial for the alleged murder of their daughter Aarushi and domestic help Hemraj.
