The Allahabad High Court Bar Association has decided to continue with its strike against the demand for setting up a bench of the Allahabad High Court in western UP even after the Independence Day. Meanwhile,lawyers did not take up any legal work for the second consecutive day on Wednesday. AHCBA president Kandarp Narain Mishra,said: “We have invited MLAs,MPs and mayors from Allahabad and other cities for a meeting on Friday. Further course of action will be decided thereafter.’’ Mishra said lawyers are opposing demand on several grounds.
