Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav will meet party MPs and MLAs at his official residence every Tuesday between 12 noon and 2 pm. He has already revived Janata Darshan the practice of meeting people for which he has earmarked 9am to 11am every Wednesday.
Akhilesh has written a letter to all MPs and MLAs,stating that a continuous dialogue with them was necessary for the development of the state and redressal of public grievances.
He also said that the peoples expectations had risen after the formation of the new government and only public representative can give information about the peoples sentiments.
After moving into his official residence,the Chief Minister has ordered the opening of the road in front of his official residence. He has also thrown open the doors of his residence so that people can easily meet him.
Her predecessor Mayawati was inaccessible not just to people,but even to her party MLAs and MPs. The road outside the Chief Ministers residence was closed to traffic during her regime.
