Undertrial prisoner lures cops with liquor,flees from hospital

An undertrial prisoner of Presidency Jail escaped from the SSKM Hospital on Sunday after luring the constables with a bottle of liquor.

An undertrial prisoner of Presidency Jail escaped from the SSKM Hospital on Sunday after luring the constables with a bottle of liquor. The convict,Shahazada who was admitted at the hospital wood burn block on April 3 broke the window of bathroom and flew through it. The fugitive was caught a month ago by the anti-dacoity squad of Kolkata Police. Superintendent of SSKM Hospital,Tamal Kanti Ghosh,said:”We have received reports that the patient who happens to be an undertrial prisoner fled through a bathroom window today. However,I am not sure whether he got hold of a bottle of liquor or not. But I don’t think such activities exist inside the hospital.”
