In a renewed attack on the UPA government at the Centre,Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Tuesday said that New Delhi was disturbing the state government on the question of internal security and once again dared it to dismiss her government. “Everyday the Centre is disturbing the state government on the question of internal security. If it has the courage let it dismiss the government in the state and we will see to it. We do not fear for that and we will fight it out democratically,” Banerjee said at an election rally in Panchla, where she is campaigning for party candidate Prasun Banerjee for the Howrah bypoll.

Reacting to it,state Congress president Pradeep Bhattacharya termed the CM’s statement as “illogocal”. “She (Mamata) can say that but we don’t demand promulgation of Article 356 every now and then… When she was in the Opposition, she used to chant about Article 356 every hour,” he said.
