Suspended Trinamool MP Kunal Ghosh Thursday threatened to reveal the names of nine people who allegedly benefited from the Saradha Group, which went bust in April this year,if the incarcerated CMD of the company,Sudipta Sen,did not do so.

“I request Sudipta Sen to name the nine persons who took a lot of advantage from Saradha. Take your time and if you do not utter these names,I have to mention them myself,“ Ghosh, who was interrogated at Bidhannangar commissionerate for seven hours today, said.

This is the fifth time Ghosh has been interrogated ever since he expressed dissent against the leadership of his party on September 20.

Meanwhile,Rajiv Kumar, commissioner of Bidhannangar police, attended a high level meeting with the senior officials at Writers’ Buildings. Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee was also present in the meeting. After the meeting,Kumar said,“Kunal Ghosh was the CEO of several media organisations. And we need to clarify all the information he is giving to us. This is the reason,we had to call him several times. ” Earlier the Rajya Sabha MP had accused that a senior party leader, who demanded his resignation, had demanded Rs 4 lakh from Sen. The journalist-turned politician was suspended by the TMC for anti-party activities on September 28. Asked whether he is feeling harassed because of repeated questioning,he said,“As a responsible citizen I am cooperating with the police.”
