The Fast Track Court hearing the Kamduni rape case Wednesday passed order for the proceedings to be held entirely in-camera with media persons barred from entering trial premises. Advocate Firoj Edulji, counsel of the accused, however, argued against holding an in-camera trial and urged the court for the video-recording of it,while also recording the witnesses statement in question and answer format. Judge Sanchita Sarkar rejected the pleas raised by Edulji. The trial hearing will commence on September 27.
