The detective department of Kolkata police will investigate a case of alleged harassment of a woman by an assistant sub-inspector in Murshidabad district.

The detective department of Kolkata police will investigate a case of alleged harassment of a woman by an assistant sub-inspector in Murshidabad district. “We have received a complaint and will start the investigation,” an official of Kolkata police said. The woman accused the ASP of Murshidabad district Mrinal Majumdar of allegedly making indecent proposals over phone and by sending obscene sms. The woman also accused Majumdar of falsely implicating her friend in a case. The allegations have been denied by Majumdar.
