Kerala: 3 dead after truck ploughs through construction workers in Aluva

Kerala Police have launched a probe and search operations are underway to nab the truck driver. CCTV footage from the site shows that the accident took place at around midnight.

At least three people were killed at around midnight on Thursday when a truck ploughed through them at a construction site at Muttom Yard in Aluva. Those dead were contractual workers with Larsen and Tubro, and were from outside the state.  Two of the workers were declared ‘brought dead’ at KIMS hospital while one succumbed to injuries during treatment.

Kerala Police have launched a probe and search operations are underway to nab the truck driver. CCTV footage from the site shows that the accident took place at around midnight. More details are awaited.
