The Delhi government’s vigilance department is going to submit its report on Delhi Police Commissioner B S Bassi, who has been accused by AAP of acquiring a flat in Rohini by misusing his position, before a court.

Delhi government officials said the vigilance department will file an application in court, along with its probe report, seeking registration of an FIR against Bassi.

AAP MLA Saurabh Bharadwaj had said in the assembly that Bassi had acquired a flat in the Lucky Home Co-operative Housing Society in Rohini in 1979 in collusion with officers attached to the Registrar of Co-operative Societies. Rejecting the allegations, Bassi had said he was ready for a debate.
