Police arrested three persons, including a suspected drug dealer in Noida who allegedly supplied LSD to 20-year-old Anmol Sarna and his friends.

Police said Sarna and his friends had purchased the LSD from Dushyant Lamba through two men — Nehul Swaroop and Bhuvan Sharma. They too have been arrested. Nehul is a BCom student, while Bhuvan is pursuing a BBA from a private university.

Police claimed their investigations revealed that Lamba used a leading courier company to smuggle LSD into the country. Lamba’s emails were traced to China and police said he used a wire transfer service to deposit money.

Police said so far Lamba had received about 50 consignments. A scrutiny of Lamba’s emails, police said, revealed that a consignment had come to Lamba a fortnight ago.

Lamba told police that when the consignments arrived,he would personally go to the courier company to collect them. Police are now checking the bank accounts of the three arrested men to look at their financial transactions.
