Kapil Sharma and Suresh Sharma, son of Babulal Sharma, had been invited by Ranjit Mandal to get a marble tender worth Rs 12 crore. They were allegedly kidnapped by Ranjit and his associates soon after their arrival at the Patna airport at around 6.20 pm Friday. The brothers, according to police, were taken to Lakhisarai and one of the two traders was allowed to make a call to their father, Babulal Sharma, who came to Patna and lodged FIR with Airport police station Sunday. But there was no mention of ransom demand in the FIR.
Police teams that raided several places in Munger and Lakhisarai over the last three days finally recovered Suresh and Kapil from a house at Kajra, a Maoist-infested area.
