A touchscreen display TV was inaugurated at the Delhi Jal Board’s Varunalaya head office by Vice-Chairman Mateen Ahmed and CEO Ramesh Negi on Thursday. DJB officials said consumers now have an innovative way to get DJB-related information, such as details of Public Information Officers,First Appellate Authorities,MLALAD Scheme and Citizen Charter.

“Gradually, the database of each wing of the DJB will be compiled and disseminated through such modes at DJB offices at various locations. This is probably the most eco-friendly way to interact with people, and work towards redressal of grievances. It will ensure that their requests are duly noted, and acted upon in a time-bound manner,” a DJB spokesperson said.
