Senior IAS officer M M Kutty takes charge as Delhi Chief Secretary

Kutty, a 1985 batch IAS AGMUT officer, was considered close to former Delhi CM Shiela Dikshit and was the additional secretary, Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change.

Senior IAS officer M M Kutty on Thursday took charge as the Delhi Chief Secretary, replacing Kewal Kumar Sharma, who was transferred as the Officer on Special Duty in the Union Human Resource Development Ministry earlier this week. The orders issued by the Department of Services, Delhi, said Kutty is chief secretary, Government of NCT of Delhi, from December 1, 2016. Kutty, a 1985 batch IAS AGMUT officer, was considered close to former Delhi CM Shiela Dikshit and was the additional secretary, Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change.
