A 32-year-old HR manager of a security agency was stabbed to death in Pathheri village,Gurgaon,late on Saturday night.
Police said Parmanand was stabbed more than 20 times. The knife,which was left at the crime scene,has been recovered by the police.
He worked as an HR manager with Laxmi Enterprises,a security agency based in DLF Phase-I. Police said Parmanand had come to the city from Muzaffarpur,Bihar,and stayed at a rented accommodation in Gandhi Nagar,Gurgaon.
Police sources said one of the accused was later picked up by the Delhi Police for drink driving,and has been admitted to AIIMS.
According to police,Parmanand left home on Saturday saying he was going to meet some friends. Police confirmed that around 8 pm,their Hyundai Eon car crossed Kherki Dhaula toll plaza. There were four persons in the vehicle.
The accused took Parmanand to the fields and stabbed him multiple times. There were stab wounds on his neck,chin,arms,back and other parts of the body, said DCP (South) Hameed Akhtar.
Local residents found the body on Sunday and reported it to the police.
Police suspect the assailants knew the victim. Police have found the car used by the alleged killers; it has an Uttar Pradesh registration number.
He was a good worker. He left after finishing his day at 5 pm. We got to know about the incident in the morning, said R P Singh,an official with Laxmi Enterprises.
A post-mortem examination has been conducted.
