National record holder Sahana Kumari won gold in the women’s high jump on the second day of the 79th Railways Athletics Championships here today. Sahana,a London Olympian and representing South Western Railways,cleared a modest 1.76m to win gold at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium. She holds the national record of 1.92m. N Manikandaraj of South Central Railways and Merlin K Joseph of Western Railways became the fastest male and female athletes of the championships.
