Petrol pump owner shot at, robbed outside bank at Delhi’s Malviya Nagar

An auto rickshaw driver tried to nab him, but the assailant hit him repeatedly with the revolver's butt. The attacker's accomplices who were waiting little ahead fled from the spot. The businessman is critical and admitted to AIIMS hospital.

A petrol pump owner was shot at on Tuesday after being robbed outside a South Delhi bank in New Delhi’s Malviya Nagar at around 10:30 am. The victim is critically injured and has suffered a bullet injury, the police said. The incident happened near Shivalik outside Federal Bank in Malviya Nagar.

Petrol pump owner Kamaljeet Sethi was going to deposit 16 lakh in the bank when he was chased and attacked by a man who had covered his face with a handkerchief. An autorickshaw driver tried to nab him, but the assailant hit him with his revolver’s butt. The attacker’s accomplices, who were waiting little ahead from the crime scene, fled from the spot. The businessman is in a critical condition and has been admitted to AIIMS hospital.
