A seven-year-old girl was allegedly abducted and raped by three men who live in her neighborhood in east Delhi’s Mandawali area, said police.
DCP (east) Rishi Pal said the accused, Bhure, (19), Amir (21) and Bhim Sen (19), were arrested Monday.
Police said the incident took place Sunday evening when the girl, who was sleeping outside her house in Yamuna Khadar, was picked up by the accused. They took her to a secluded place and took turns to rape her, added police.
The girl managed to get back home and told her parents about the assault. Her parents rushed her to Lal Bahadur Shastri Hospital (LBS) and called police, said the DCP. A police officer said the girl was referred to AIIMS from LBS Hospital. Doctors said her condition is stable.
