A 29-year-old man was caught with two live bullets in his bag during the security check at a Metro station on the Green Line Saturday. The man, Kuldeep, a resident of Timarpur in north Delhi’s Civil Lines, was stopped and questioned by CISF personnel at Surajmal Metro station when the X-ray scan revealed two live bullets in his bag.

A CISF officer said, “The incident was reported around 5.15 pm when one of our CISF personnel detected the 0.315-bore bullets in a passenger’s bag. There were no arms in the bag.”

“He was not allowed to proceed from security check and was handed over to police for further questioning when he could not produce any relevant document,” he added. The incident comes days after an elderly woman carried an axe into the Metro and tried to attack a fellow passenger.
