Man commits suicide by jumping before Metro train in north Delhi

The man had first made a futile attempt to jump in front of a Metro train on platform number 2, said a police officer.

A man believed to be in his fifties allegedly committed suicide by jumping before a Metro train at Civil Lines station in north Delhi Friday.

The man had first made a futile attempt to jump in front of a Metro train on platform number 2, said a police officer.

Then he to platform number 1 and jumped in front of a train going towards Huda City Centre on the Yellow Line around 12.55 pm, he added.
Police said the man was not carrying any identity card or phone and his identity was yet to be established.
